On April 15th and 16th of 2016, TEDxNashville hosted its seventh annual event at the War Memorial Auditorium and Tennessee Performing Arts Center. Dynamic leaders in technology, entertainment, design, science, art, education, government, public policy, healthcare and other areas shared their diverse thoughts focused on creating positive change within our society.

The first day of the event explored the theme of “HealthNext”—from Why the Drugs You Take Don’t Work to Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare—with innovative talks about the future of health and medicine. The following day focused on the theme of “Elevation” with an exciting variety of forward-thinking and uplifting talks, like Is Hip Hop a Cancer or a Cure? and Human Connection for Ocean Protection.

Throughout both days, acclaimed Nashville artist Todd Greene created real-time illustrations based on the talks and creative performances.
