TEDxNashville Mixtape

July 22 | Analog at Hutton Hotel

What song reminds you who you used to be?

What song helped you survive something difficult?

What song changed the direction of your life?

TEDxNashville Mixtape is a live conversation told through music.

Before the event, each guest answers four questions about their life.

The catch?

They can only answer with a song.

Guided by host Shaka Mitchell, we’ll listen to those selections together and uncover the stories behind them—the moments of joy, heartbreak, resilience, identity, friendship, faith, and transformation that shaped who they became.

Along the way, you’ll hear songs you know, discover songs you don’t, and find pieces of your own story reflected in theirs.

Because every life has a soundtrack.

And every song carries a story.
